Our Fajita Spice is a deliciously spicy seasoning mix for creating the perfect fajitas! It can also be used as a rub for poultry & meat, as a marinade or added to Mexican style breads, dips & sauces.
To make Chicken Fajitas
4 tsp Mr. Bell’s Fajita Seasoning
3-4 Chicken breasts
1 Onion, red or white
1 Pepper, red, yellow or green
1 tbsp Sunflower or Olive Oil
Slice the chicken breasts into strips & place in a bowl. Add the Fajita spice & mix well. Leave to marinate for at least 5 minutes.
Meanwhile, finely slice the onions & peppers.
Heat a frying pan or skillet & add some oil. Once hot, add the onions & marinated chicken strips & cook, stirring frequently to ensure the chicken is cooked through.
Before the chicken starts to brown, add the sliced peppers to the pan & cook the entire mixture until the chicken is nicely browned, the onions are soft & the peppers are cooked but still retaining their bright colour.
Serve with warmed tortilla wraps, salsa, guacamole, soured cream or natural yogurt & grated cheese.
