Description
Maki Sushi, or literally “rolled sushi” involves fresh ingredients and sushi rice wrapped inside a seaweed sheet (nori) and rolled using a bamboo mat. These rolls can be enjoyed whole or sliced into smaller pieces and are traditionally served with soy sauce, wasabi and ginger.
Nori seaweed is essential for making sushi, kappa, onigiri rice balls and temaki rolls.
Also delicious toasted over an open flame to create a crispier texture then, crumble it over salads and noodle dishes.
